The sun hung low over the golden savanna as Maya adjusted her camera lens. This was her dream—an African safari, deep in the Maasai Mara.
Suddenly, the jeep halted. A lioness emerged from the tall grass, her amber eyes locked onto a distant herd of zebras. Silence fell over the group. In a flash, she pounced, muscles rippling, chasing her prey with breathtaking speed.
But just as the zebra seemed doomed, it twisted sharply, dust flying, and escaped. The lioness slowed, panting, then slinked back into the grass.
Maya exhaled, heart racing. Nature, raw and untamed, had just played out before her eyes.
