In the heart of Accra, where sunlight danced on dusty pavements and the scent of roasted plantain lingered in the air, there sat an old man. Every day, without fail, he took his place beneath a bent streetlamp at the corner of Oxford Street, beside a cracked flower pot and the door of a closed-down pharmacy.
